Shoot The Homeless
Thu Feb 12 2004

Can I be on record as saying that I don't give a damn what anyone thinks about photographers shooting candid photos of the homeless? I can? Oh good.

So under the guise of preserving dignity, you'd think it best if we just kept everything about 'the walking dead' unseen, hidden, undocumented, and out of public discussion by giving photographers the impression that taking such photos is a violation, or shameful.

Look, if you don't like the fact that there are homeless on your streets, how much sense does it make to bitch through comments on weblogs about their supposed exploitation by photographers? Instead, ask yourself what, if anything, you've ever done to improve their lives. What's that? You tossed a few coins? Or, did nothing at all? I thought so.

So back to my central argument: You're half way to a clue, but until you get there, fuck off you sanctimonious, hypocritical asses.
