A kid, dressed as a pirate, goes trick or treating by himself on Halloween. An old lady answers her door and says, "Oh my! You're adorable! But where are your buccaneers?"

"On the sides of my buckin' head, lady!"

So like the thoroughly marketed-to whore that I am, I rushed out and bought the game Enter The Matrix and I've been enjoying it. The game play - while not groundbreaking - is addictive. It's tapped into my lingering desire to remain connected to the Matrix mythology, oh and it's fun, too.

I'm still trying to figure out exactly what I thought of Reloaded. I re-watched the first movie - twice - since seeing the sequel, and have to say that if nothing else, the first movie is better cut. You spend those two hours utterly lost in time, and emerge thrilled and energized. During Reloaded, I shifted in my seat now and then, and my kid at one point asked me what time it was. Not a good sign for this genre of film.
