Warnings

Inside a bottle of vitamins, or something edible, I can understand the strenuous warning, but I've always wondered about the little printed packets of silica, that read, 'DO NOT EAT'.

These same packets come packaged with expensive electronics and camera equipment, each with the same warning. Smart enough to afford luxury items, but too dumb not to eat a packet of hydrophilic sand?

Do some people open new camera equipment and say, "Oh thank God! A snack!"?
