I was thrilled to discover David Hume Kennerly (or more likely his staff) linked to my review of Photo du Jour from his press page. I really couldn't believe it.

I finished Derek's Design for Community, and it's wonderful. Derek writes in his amazingly effortless conversational style, and takes what in other hands would be dead-dull material, and breathes life into each chapter. Really great stuff.

And on the topic of books, if you happen to live anywhere near Sacramento, and are a nerd, well, nerdbooks.com will be your Mecca. It's the place where I made a new friend, but more importantly, it's the bookstore for, well, nerds. Looking for every single O'Reilly book in publication? They have them all, I think, and just about everything else related to computers, software, internet, technology, engineering, mathematics, and so on. It's geek heaven. Trust me, it's so worth a drive. But you can buy online, too.
